Phulchoki Day Hiking will take us into the highest hill in Kathmandu Valley. Just 20km away from the Kathmandu, Phulchoki is a small hill station in the middle of lush forests. Phulchoki Day Hiking is popular among the people who love bird watching. It houses around ninety species of birds and numerous flora.
Explore distinct vegetation, enjoy the short hike in the middle of dense forest, enjoy the snow (in winter), have a quick look into the local lives or catch a glimpse of massive Annapurna Range, there are a lot of things we can do in Phulchoki Day Hiking.
After an early morning breakfast, we will drive to the Godavari from where we will start our short hike. From the Godavari we will hike for around four hours in the middle of scenic forests, enjoying the sceneries, colorful birds and captivating flowers. The beauty of this trek is enhanced by the view of magnificent Annapurna and Gaurishanker Range.
Upon reaching Phulchoki, we will have a mesmerizing view of Kathmandu valley below and majestic mountains above. After strolling around and enjoying the vistas for a while, we will have lunch and take a brief rest. We then head back to the Godavari following the same trail.
