Manaslu and Tsum Valley trek is the most exceptional trek in the sense that it gives us the opportunity to witness the village and cultures hidden for centuries and to top it all the landscapes it features are never seen and heard before. While most of the trail of Tsum Valley is untraced wilderness, few areas are laced with well-defined walking tracks allowing us to explore the lush forests, a gigantic waterfall cascading into the tussock lands, serpentine streams, mountain ridges, rugged terrain, and beautiful caves.

Diverse and untamed, Tsum Valley is a magical world of captivating colorful villages and dramatic landscapes. The valley offers a glimpse of ancient huts and wild area. We will spend nights and witness the local culture throughout the trek. We will be exploring some of the major monasteries of this region including Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa, and Nummer temple.

Besides exerting ourselves, we get to relish the vistas of Mount Manaslu, Hiunchuli, Sringi Himal, Ganesh Himal, Ngadi, Larkye Peak, Cheo Himal, Annapurna II, Kangguru along with alluring frozen lakes and icefalls. The dense forest houses a good deal of endangered flora and fauna. however neither you can hunt nor go fishing or slaughter animal. The sight of Blue Sheep and Himalayan Thar is common.

Though Manaslu region was opened for trekkers in 1995, Tsum valley opened its door for the outside only in 2008. People residing in this region have formed their own world with their own way of living, dialect, and culture. It has preserved its history as it was centuries ago and is rich in ancient religion and art. Exploring the hidden valley gives us a different sense of achievement as not many have conquered what we have. Enjoy the quaint environment and artistic monasteries, stupas, mani walls, chortens and prayer flag sin the past, Tsum was neither part of Nepal nor Tibet. The terrain is difficult and accommodation is way too basic making the trek ideal for a hardcore trekker.
