Tourism has a great impact in Nepali economy. Since it is a major source of the income, we are trying to attract as much travelers as we can. However, amid this, we cannot forget tourism can have a negative impact in the nature, culture and livelihood of the local. So, to minimize these negative impacts, we have been practicing responsible tourism since the establishment.

Initially, the definition of responsible tourism was limited to the welfare of the wild lives which was called ‘ecotourism’ but now its horizon has broadened. Responsible tourism means contributing in uplifting of the local economy, preserving cultural and natural heritage and working towards the welfare of the local people.

By practicing responsible tourism, Nepal trekking Path  aspire to create a better place to live and visit. However, Nepal Trekking Path  alone cannot make tourism sustainable rather all the stakeholder should act and take responsibility.

Responsible tourism is not just beneficial to the host country but also to a traveler. By following responsible tourism, the travelers can elevate their experience, they can learn new things, see the world from a different dimension and be part of something beautiful like bettering someone’s life.

We encourage our guests to bond with the local people so they can develop respect towards local culture and life style. To maintain our nature, cultural and historical heritage intact, we follow ‘leave no trace’ policy. The happiness, comfort and security of our guest is our priority, so we try to give the most friendly and secure environment to boost your experience and holiday.

Nepal Trekking Path  considered its employees to be its major asset and takes their wellbeing seriously. They are well paid and every one of them has insurance. We take proper care of their rights and listen to their problem and act immediately to create a workable environment.

We understand our responsibility towards our society, thus always work towards creating a better society for everyone. Some portion of our income goes to the NGOS or other organization working to uplift the life of peoples.

Since we will trek into the remote areas, it’s our responsibility to create an employment opportunity as much as we can which will ultimately lead to the development of that area. To help local people generate the income, we encourage our travelers to use local hotels, lodges and dine there, purchase the handicraft and help them in other ways if possible. To discourage deforestation and reduce the use of firewood, we cook in kerosene and gas. We suggest our traveler to reuse water bottle to lessen garbage.
