- Visit your doctor and take necessary precaution before you embark into the trip. You might have to take pills or vaccination as per your doctor prescription.
- If you have any other health issues you may bring your medication in the original bottle along with the prescription.
- Though our guide carries (comprehensive) first aid box, it’s advisable to bring your own first aid kit with basic supplements like insect repellent, antiseptic cream, multi-vitamin capsules, etc.
- Learn remedies of high-altitude sickness because it’s bound to happen in the high altitude.
- Exchange enough local cash so you don’t run out of money when you are in the trek. You barely find the exchange counter there.
- Get the travel insurance, it is most.
- Learn some basic social or cultural etiquette followed in Nepal before you travel, it can come handy while dealing with locals
- Tap water are not safe, so either drink bottled mineral water (which is not recommended from the environmental point view) or purified or boiled water while on the long journey.
- Know beforehand if your credit card will work on the host country or not.
- Limit the use of plastics
- Marijuana is not legal in Nepal, so don’t make the mistake of carrying them with you, unless you are willing to explore the jails too.
- In some temples, only Hindus are allowed.
